Sophomore Year

      This year is okay I guess. It was a lot of work and but I have learned a lot this year also. Chemistry and Algebra have had me thinking all year. English has given me a lot of hard work and it has been difficult to do. Photography is my relaxin' period because I have had it all year and I get A's in it even when I do nothing. Then there is lunch which is the period I look forward too most of the time. I love to eat. Then study hall, where I play against people on this Doodle Army app on my ipod. I usually win so its a good time. Then there is Spanish where we have paper ball fights. After that, I go to Mrs. Wright's room where I mess around the whole time because her class is easy. Then there is Chemistry, my nemesis-__-. Chemistry is a hard class but I am learning and I feel acomplished when I pass his test.

       I am going to miss my class during the summer. They are all good people and have great personalities.I love all these people. They are great friends and great people to mess around with.

Phanha- SNSD lover(I don't blame him), Music lover, very funny, and one of my best friends.
Steven- The best gamer in this school at shooting games, funny, and one of my best friends.
Marissa- Super lame jk jk, Super white, wierd personality but I still love her.

Class Sucks

        I can't wait to finish this year of school. This school year was boring and the classes sucked. We have about 2-3 weeks of school I think and still have a lot of work to do thanks to the teachers. We still have this huge report thing in English that is expected to be done by Tuesday but we still get even more work in that class which stops us from working on the other paper and I think that is really dumb. Like right now, we have to complete this paper and do some animation thing that has nothing to do with anything. What does making an animation have to do with English II? I don't understand that.

        We have had about 3 6 weeks to work on our paper but it is really hard to work on it proficiently if we have other distractions that get in our way when there is really no point for it. In the beginning of our assignment, we also had to complete a poetry booklet so we had to concentrate on that too.We only got in the computer lab a few times so while were trying to work on the poetry book and the big report in a short amount of time, we also were given a blogger which takes a lot of time out of our work on the other two. Just give us one assignment at a time and stop trying to overwork us.

     During the end of the 3 6 weeks we finished the poetry books barely and my whole class thought we were done with extra assignments and we could work on the report properly but nooo that doesn't happen. We figure out now, that we have to create some animate thing for a book we have read. Come on now, what does creating an anime clip have to do with English II. So again, we have to finish this 4 page body of the report and do the animate thing while also creating another blog in about 50 minutes. Is that even possible? I guess I'll find out soon  enough.

Gears of War 3 Beta

     Gears of War 3 is created by Epic games and is probably one of the best games I have played in a long time. It is an awesome 3rd person shooting game that involves the COG and the Locust. The beta is a multiplayer-only game right now that has 4 different maps. The graphics on this game are perfect and the fighting is so much better than Gears of War 2. The only thing that might need fixed on the Beta is the Sawed off Shotgun and some of the animations. Other than that, Epic games has just created an epic game.
     The Sawed-Off Shotgun is the strongest gun in the game but its range is terrible. It is also probably the gayest gun in the game too because all it takes is one shot to kill someone. All someone has to do is just run up to an enemy or blindside them from behind and shoot the gun and that guy will die. But to kill someone with it, you have to be up in the guys face with it and that is a good thing for people who are trying to stay away from it.
    Also the animations need to be fixed on some executions and grenades. While you are punching a guy on the ground, the head of that person pops off before you even get the last punch in. Also the grenades blow up as soon as you throw it and then the beep beep happens. So the grenades blow up and but take effect like a few seconds later. Other than those problems, this game is really good and I can't wait for it to come out.

How I beat Phanha in the Tron Game

    The Tron game requires fast reflexes and great skill. Only a master of games could play this and that is why I win all the time in this game. I beat Sabrina a few days ago and today I just destroyed Phanha. I didn't know what to do with himself. He was so shocked that he started crying like a little baby. I got killed my his own line and I even trapped him in there. I made sure he wasn't getting out of my little box. He stood no chance against my gaming skills.

     Right when we started, I started out fast and dangerous. I went straight at him and he went straight at me. We were playing chicken with tron bikes and I won because he pulled up just before I did. He was doomed from the start. From there, I went around the edges of the map and then pulled a fast one on Phanha. I trapped him in half the map and he soon ran out of space and died so I won! I am the master of that game and Phanha is my lackey.

    While I was writing this blog, we played a few more times and  played chicken. We made it right next to each other and both pulled up. It was a close one and one time Phanha didn't even pull up and he ran straight into me and it was a tie. This game is awesome and is a great head-to-head game. Maybe I will play it a few more times and kill Phanha in it again.

The Lost Boys

    Last Friday, we watched a video called The Lost Boys that was about a bunch of black kids got kicked out of their homes becuase if they didn't leave, they would be killed by their own government. It was sad that all these kids were being killed and they were no older than us. A lot of them were killed during their trip to saftety. They had to leave their village and travel many miles to get to get to a UN camp that would keep them safe. It was sad to hear some of the survivors of this to tell their stories and what they seen.

  One of the survivors seen other lost boys die by mortars and gun shots. He has seen a lot of things in his lifetime that most people will never see. He was too young and he shouldn't have had to see that. Even after they got to the UN Camp, it still wasn't safe because 2 years after they got there, they had to leave again because that camp was closing. So the Lost Boys were in trouble again and had to flee out of the country to get freedom. They even had to cross a river filled with Crocodiles and that was really dangerous.

  In the end, a lot of the Lost Boys died but a lot survived too. There are a few survivors that live in the United States now and have continued their learning. These guys are really great because even after all they've been through, they still want to continue their learning. That is really great that these people are taking advantage of our learning system and they are learning the most they can.

Phanha Can't Sing

 So Phanharith Dang a.k.a Phanha loves to sing but what he doesn't know is that he needs singing lessons(No offense). Phanha loves to sing on Xbox Live, while in class, while in band, and probably more places. You would think that he would be the best singer in the world because of how much he sings but he just makes my ears bleed and I go deaf for a good 5 minutes. It definitly hurt my ears when I had my Turtle Beaches on max volume, Phanha started singing and I think I went deaf for like half an hour. It was horrible singing and I couldn't even understand what he was saying because he was listening to some Korean Pop Song by SNSD. They actually aren't that bad but when you add Phanha's voice in it, it ruins it(sadface).

  I think I figure out a way to not go deaf while listening to Phanha sing. It might be the greatest invention ever imagined and they are called ear-plugs. I secretly put them in while Phanha isn't paying attention and when he starts singing, I hear nothing!!! When were on Xbox Live, I end up just lowering my mic's volume to where I can barely hear him and it works great also. So when your stuck listening to a Cambodian/Vietnamese kid singing Korean pop, just pop in some ear-plugs and you are fine.

Scheduling

      Today we have to make our scheldules and it is a very tough descision to make. I don't know what classes I want to choose classes that will help me out in the future but they look really hard. Next year is going to be very challenging but I think I can do it. I hope that I keep my classes with my friends so it will be a little bit easier. The classes I am going to try to take will be AP English III, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry II, AP European History, US Government, Sociology, Physical Education II, and Foods I. These are some challenging classes.
      I still have a whole period left so I am thinking about taking Spanish III but I don't know about that. I am really confused about what to do. I am really going to be busy next year but it will help out in the future and save me a lot of money because of those AP classes. I also need to take some electives because I need more credits to make my transcript look better. This is going to be a tough school year but it will be worthwhile.
    

Egypt

       When I think of Egypt, I think of gold, pyramids, Pharaohs and lots of history. Egypt is a really cool pace to learn about but today, Egypt is trying to overthrow its government which was basically a dictorship. Egypt is fighting hard to get their own government that they want and I think we should try to help them but not cause more problems while trying to. Egypt needs help to get the right kind of government for them and now it is being broadcasted world wide.       To try to stop some of the protest and stop the world from watching, Egypt even turned off its internet which is the first time that has ever happen. Egypt does not have the right to turn off the internet to their people because that is just wrong. Egypt finally got rid of their president Mubarak and he just resigned a week ago. Egypt finally got what they wanted and I am happy for them that they succeeded in what they wanted.
   Egypt is really cool and they succeeded in what they wanted. Egypt is a fighter and RIP to all the people that fought for what they believed in. Good luck Egypt!

Mr. Mann's Class

      In Mr. Mann's class, we are doing a lot of work that is kind of too much. We have to do a poem book and write a big argumental paper that I don't know anything about. I don't know what we are supposed to be doing on this paper and this class is starting to be too much for me to handle. Mr. Mann is giving us a lot of work and it is getting very hard to keep up with it. I just think we should do less work in here becuase we are doing so much.
     If we are doing that argumental paper, maybe we should do it in groups or something so that it will be a little easier on us. High Schoolers like me are under stress a lot and giving us all these huge assignments at once is putting a lot of extra stress that is not needed. Being in Groups would definitly help get rid of some of the stress. I think we should just slow down a little bit and stop rushing through everything.
     I have lots of stress right now becuase its getting near the end of the year and every class is getting so hard. School is so hard right now and all this extra projects at once is pushing my stress to the limit. These classes are just making me hate school even more. I don't see why we are given so much more work than other students just becuase we are in more accelerated classes than them. It is just not fair and it puts way more stress than needed. This class is just making me not want to take accelerated classes anymore. I kind of just want to take the same classes everyone else takes and that won't kill me with stress.

Back To The Classics.

        The games this year aren't that good. Halo Reach is worst than the one before it and there are so many ways to glitch it. Black Ops is even worst than Halo Reach becuase it is a laggy game and the graphics are even worst than Modern Warfare 2. So all my friends and I are going to back to the old games that are fun and can keep you entertained for a while unlike Black Ops. We are going to games that we like to mess around on like Gears Of War 1 & 2, Medal of Honor, and Modern Warfare 2.

        The Gears Of War series has one of the best story modes I have ever played and I love to play them. The multiplayer is also very fun if you are playing with friends that have your back at all times. I love to have chainsaw battles against my friends to see who has the fastest thumb out of all of us. We could also play horde mode where you face off against waves and waves of monsters that get harder and harder. You have to have a good team if you want to get far in that game so you have to have good teamwork to get far.

        I'm also going to play some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 because there is so much to do on multiplayer like ninja defuse, run around knifing, and quickscoping. I love to ninja defuse because so many people get mad because right after they plant the bomb, I would usually sneak up on them and defuse it right after they would plant it. It makes so many people mad and that is why I like it so much. The classics are best and the games this year suck.

      

Music?

         I like to listen to music whenever I am bored or at school. The main types of music I like to listen to are Rap, Hip-Hop and a little of R&B. My favorite rappers are Lil' Wayne, Drake and Eminem. They are pretty good rappers and their songs are very entertaining. I like a lot of Drake's and  Lil' Wayne's funny songs where it seems like they are having fun with it like Drake's  "Still Fly Freestyle". If I could, I would listen to music all day.

       Even when I'm playing my Xbox 360, I still listen to music. Phanha and me would turn our laptops up and take turns playing different songs. Phanha would usually play Asian songs where I couldn't understand it but the song still sounded okay. When I play my songs, Phanha would usually sing to it horribly and that makes music a lot funner when your friends like to sing but they suck at it. Music always brings happiness in people's lifes. Listening to music always makes gaming more fun so I always turn up my music.

        I don't know what I would do if the world didn't have music. I would probably just be super bored without my music. The world would be in choas without music. Without music games would less enjoyable, life would suck, and I would go crazy. So lets thank those people who created music and helped our lives out by adding so much enjoyment
